Wiimote design. essentially it only has 2 buttons. A and B. D-pad shouldnt count because its a d-pad and should be used for movement and not as an extra catch all for the lack of buttons on the wiimote. - + and home are all menu buttons. 1 and 2 buttons are out of reach on less have the controller sideways which then makes the b button just in a retarted place. Then with the nunchuck theres 2 more buttons. making for a total of 4 really usable buttons. the current standard is is double that its no wonder we cant get ports of games like RE5 and GTA4 and Street Fighter 4 MGS4 DMC4 and Soul Calibur 4(its the year of the quad-logy) we dont have enough buttonswebbut
K, I understood like half of that.... But it doesn't have more buttons because it is MOTION SENSITIVE! and I think there is plenty of buttons and the B button is in a really good spot if you hold the control sideways, to me, it just works.
Does it count if the thing that annoys me the most is when people come onto the forums and constanly complain about the Wii? As in, they'll go into a forum and complain, just to be heard.
If that doesn't count, I'd say that what annoys me the most is that the IR sensor bar needs complete darkness from sunlight or it doesn't work properly. My TV is in front of giant windows (really the only place to put it), and I need to cover the windows with blankets to fully block the light.
Friend Codes! How come nobody said this yet? I hate them!!!

I'm color blind, and it is somewhat annoying. Not really the light, but the principle of it.
I always wonder if people ever take color blindness into consideration when making stuff. Certain colors would work fine... blue and yellow, for example. It's the same for lots of stuff in games, too. When I play sports games with other people, I usually have to use the blue icon since the others all look similar (yellow, light green, red). Remember Lost Kingdoms for the Gamecube? The battle system was card-based and centered around colors, but several of the colors were close in the spectrum, so I literally couldn't play that game.
By the way, color blind people can see colors. They just can't always differentiate between colors that have similar wavelengths. It's a problem with the cones in the back of the eye. It's amazing how many people think that color blindness is a result of not learning colors when you're a kid. :?

Now that I know this, it just makes your ownage of Guitar Hero that much more impressive.
The sounds from the Wiimote, I turned that off immediately. ...that and not being able to control the Wii menu with all modes of control. :?ZumaJones07
You can control it with 50% of the control modes, thats not bad.

hey buddy i dont know if you noticed but, there is a controller that is called the classic controller and that has many butttons for you to jam on, with the classic controller it could be possible for GTA and other games that requiere many buttons.

There is no external hard drive!!! They need to make them because I have a lot of VC games.DarkSparkX
I agree there.
Mine isn't about the hardware too much as for how Nintendo used the Havok engine in Brawl. I hate the tripping(when your character trips out of no where). Even when you walk towards the opponent you can trip. It messes me up sometimes.
When I'm on my couch and I have my feet on the table it covers up the senor bar. Then I try to point at the screen and I can't. Then I have to take my feet all the way off of the table, point at the screen, click, and then, if I have enough energy left, bring my feet back up onto the table. By that time, I have no energy left to pound buttons. That gaming session is over.NALDOxCORE

i agree there too. i only have 9 VC games and 4 WiiWare games, and i'm completely out of memory.
When I was fresh out of college, the first company I worked for had user interface requirements which said absolutely nothing could be exclusively color coded. You'll be glad to know I haven't forgotten that rule (I'm a programmer). Sancroff
I am very glad. Most of the time, it's just a minor inconvenience. But when something becomes completely unusable because of it, I get kind of irritated since it could've easily been avoided in almost every case. For example, I played laser tag once. Just once. The teams were red and green. That's just a stupid decision on the designer's part. They do offer something if you're colorblind, but whatever it was didn't help one bit. It would've been more practical if one team were blue and the other yellow. I don't think those colors can be confused by anyone, regardless of the severity of colorblindness.

ah but u failed to noticed that the classic controller does not have a motion sensor nor the it have an IR pointer AND unless we are talking about a different classic controler u cant hold the Wiimote to get the motion capablitiy and also use the Classic controller unless u have an extra hand. i want my cake and i want to eat it too
Limited Memory
Seriously, underpowered graphics doesn't bother me (so long as developers don't cop out when making games), Pro Logic 2 doesnt bother me (since I live in a small apartment with no room for added speakers anyway), but the limited flash memory is getting to me.
It's so irritating to have to delete so much to add a game that's only 40 Mb, and on top of that it makes DLC a more difficult problem then it has to be.
Good News: All they have to do is open up the SD card... and maybe give away free 512 Mb SD cards with new systems.

I mean that it's annoying to have a different 12-digit code for every online game you play.

Not at all, because the colors weren't essential. Most of them had the rune by them anyway, if I remember right. It's been awhile, but I don't remember having any problems whatsoever with the colors in that game.

well then im going to give an idea on how u can add the motion and ir thing. if you have seen the back of the classic controller it has a a clip thingy. nintendo could create some sort of clip where you'll be able to attach the back of the wiimote to the back of the classic and bamm, you got yourself a motion sensing and IR pointer classic controller.
does that help?
I find it somewhat annoying that the Wii isn't overly left handed friendly.
I've become quite used to using the analog stick with my left hand after generations of standard controllers, however now my left hand is also best suited for precision pointing and such. So in games where you both use the analog stick and pointer a lot, its a bit annoying because you instinctively want to use your left hand for both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. In games like Metroid Prime 3 it literally took me hours to adjust to the difference.
No Mic. I can always use a phone but, I wish Nintendo gave the option. hathejoker
I can't. I have no cell service in my basement (gaming room,) so I get really mad.

Wanna play trivial pursuit? :P
What bothers me is the lack of good horror/fps/rpg games. The Wii has a dearth of those and I could really use a couple of those good games to play during the summer.
