The only way it works is if I pop the L button cover off and push the actuall button really hard...any ideas how to get it more sensitive so it can work like normal again...I really need it to work I just got big bang mini (kick butt game well worth 20$) and the only way the homing missiles work is if you push the L button....any ideas to help that be great!!!

My guess is those buttons works in a similar way than those clickeable pens, if you click too much, the coil will turn a bit out of the place and the pen cant be clicked anymore until you find a way to fix it.

sure it makes sense...but what he's saying is that it's ALWAYS seems to be problems with the L button and not the R button

Because the L button is the one being pressed more if you put it in your pocket. That's how my L button has always broken on me.

When I had my DSL it happened for like 2 days then it'd be ok then it'd happen a month later...Off and on really, never permanent though. If it happens with my DSi I am going to rip someone apart.

My L button didnt work after my friend used it. She really angry from losing a lot in NSMB and accidently smashed it on the table. I needed to call ninty, send it to them, be DS-less for 2 weeks and bored with no handheld/console ( havent bought a wii at tht time) on a summer, and got a new DS. Since then I've been extra careful of my current DS.
