It's been a long time since my Wii didn't play discs properly, every time I put in a disc on my Wii, then it said that "An error has been occured". and I'm going to get another Wii, so why does it happen? and how do you copy data from a Wii to another Wii?

Thank you for your information. However, I don't have an SD Card, but the one that I found cost $7.88.

When does it happen? As soon as you insert the disc or after the game is loaded? Can you play a little bit and then you get the error? Because that could be fixed using the cleaning kit.

Call Nintendo Tech Support:

Best bet would be to contact Nintendo Tech Support. It could be either the disc is just dirty and a Wii Lens Cleaning Kit could be needed. Nintendo.com sells them. Or your disc drive could be broken. Depending when you got it it could be out of warranty but the price to have Nintendo fix it is significantly cheaper then buying a whole new system. Also I think if they can't fix your system (say something is wrong with the OS or something like that) they replace it. You can't have anything like homebrew or anything non-Nintendo approved installed on the system. The repair from them is around $70 if you are our of warranty.
