Its graphics. Yeah I know that sounds stupid but I thought the 3DS at the time was going to be another DS but it turns out it was a new platform. With the addition of a widescreen and its graphics I wanted to buy one instantly.

Nah, its got some pretty nice graphics IMO. I really enjoy OoT's graphics already, and although there are issues with 3D, I am really enjoying it at the same time.

Kingdom Hearts.

Well, I'm addicted to Pokemon so I'd basically need to buy one eventually, so yeah...

It didn't hurt that there were bound to be other great games too. :P

For Mario 3d, I just completed the game 100% today, it took me 24hrs and 31 mins. I also bought my fiance a 3ds so we could play multiplayer games when more are out, so I bought it for the fun times with the missus.

To play games

I guess the main reason I got one are the first party titles and so far it has delivered, even though it was just recently. I bought it on launch day anyway...basically because I'm a sucker for new systems. :p

Hopes of a new Monster Hunter, Fire Emblem, Super Smash Brothers, Shin Megami Tensei, Zelda, Mario, and Metroid game. The Tales of the Abyss port kinda sealed the deal for me though.

Because DS games were to soon be discontinued and I wanted to continue buying (3)DS games, so I bought one.

Because I am stupid and made a mistake. :(

The main reason I got my 3DS was because I knew it would have games that I wanted to play.

And I'm not just talking about the terrific Nintendo games, I also mean any interesting and well-made 3rd-party games that come out, like they have on previous Nintendo handhelds.

I was hoping for some good RPG's. I know there's a few coming out next year, but the wait is killing me. At least I got Zelda to hold me over, but that's not a true RPG.

For the analog stick. Specifically to play Okamiden more comfortably.

pretty much, those games are the reasons why I bought the 3DS, now REM and OoT are out. There are only two reasons left to keep the console out of dust.

It was a gift from my parents when I topped my class. I actually wanted an Xperia Play but it wasn't available in my country so my parents decided the 3DS was the next best thing. Some months later, I can say I prefer it to the Xperia Play. I love ya, Mum and Dad! :D

Oh, the reason? *blinks stupidly* Sorry :P I was a newly recruited Pokemon fan and a 3D Pokemon game was bound to come out on it soon. I haven't bought Pokemon Rumble Blast because for $40, it doesn't really seem worth it except for the most desperate Pokemon fan but I'll buy it used for a lower price. As it is, I'm content with Pokedex 3D as of yet because I can read up info on Pokemon I never heard of before. So, Pokemon. And Mario. Even though I despise Mario, 3D Land was very good.

Oh, and yeah. Resident Evil :D I didn't hear of Kingdom Hearts until after I bought it.

I just picked one up thursday at the target sale got it with a 50.00 gift card for 170.00, used the card for mario kart for 40 bucks could not pass that deal up since I have wanted one.

Simple: Zelda bundle

I was going to wait a while, maybe even until until the first hardware upgrade, but then the Zelda bundle came along. I've owned every Nintendo handheld over the years, but never got any of the Zelda special editions.

EB games had a "trade in 4 games of at least $8 value and get $100 off." So, I trade some some of my Mario-type DS games for the deal. Typically, I keep all my games, but these ones havent been touched in years. (I'll always keep my zelda/mario karts though.)

So, I got the Zelda bundle for $99 and a sweet coupon book for EB games with a ton of great cupons ($10 off games, buy one get one free, trade in deals, etc)

when I saw the Legend of Zelda 3DS Bundle I just had to get one. also Pokemon.
