Name your favorite Feature

So despite what people say about media functionality on the DS, I beleive its an extremely well rounded system that has some of the most intruiging features ever built on a game system (well besides the wii). What do you like best about your ds? If they took that feature away would that piss you off?

For me it would have to be the portabilaty and the way its constructed. I can take it wherever I go and the clamshell design keeps the screens from getting scratched unlike other handhelds.

Compared to the old DS, the fact that you can see the screens is the best feature.

Compared to other handhelds the double screens/touchscreen ability is coolest.

For me, I just like the battery life. I can play it all day and not really have to worry about the battery and then it charges up while I sleep!

i like the fact that you can easily use a *ehrm* movie player.

Also ofc the touch screen is AWESOME

The touch screen is probably my fav feature. I somewhat enjoy the mic, though most games don't ever use it. I like the protection of the clamshell, but I'd honestly rather have one bigger screen (like the PSP) than 2 split screens.

I've never understood the battery life thing, it seems my DS's battery life is only slightly better than the PSP, like by maybe an hour or two. But it takes 2 or 3 times longer for the DS battery to recharge, than the PSP one does. Maybe like 5 hours compared to 2.

Why do you think that? You can barely see it on the DSlite. I just like it, it's unqiue and what not.

Yeah but you have to admit that it has pretty bad quality.

I like the possibilites for unique gameplay.

definitely the touch screen.

it definitely makes things so much more convenient. i hate navigating through slow menu's using buttons/d-pad on my gba now.

have you chatted online with someone in pokemon? you can barely understand what the person is saying.

I have to say I was skeptical of the cooking genre, that is until the Easy Bake DS wireless accessory was anounced...now THAT's a cool feature! Cake Mania! W00T!

the touch screen is my favorite feature, because it brings such innovative gameplay.

I also appreciate:

-the wireless local play (remember the cumbersome, restricting cables of the gba? :cry: )

-the bright backlighting (I didn't really noticed until I picked up an SP lately...)

-its sleek design (much better than old ds, ugh)
