hey isnt that the chick from phoenix wright one? i thought she had nothing to do with the main story line and was just thrown in there for the exclusive 5th episode. cant wait for PW 4 ^^

i read on 1up that capcom arent so entirely convinced yet but they are putting up a phoenix wright fan related contest supposely to inspire or encourage them to send more phoenix wright games west-over

It was impressive enough for them to pull a viral marketing technique where they make us think that we have any say in how Ace Attorney 3 makes it to the USA.
They basically announced a USA release without even saying it.

From the looks of it, she looks to be the replacement for gunshoe since she is the Detective with the scientific slant.
Odds are that she will be just like Gunshoe and appear in every case in one form or another.
Edit: Ema Skye is also considered part of the main cast, so she will likely pay a HUGE role in the next saga.
By any chance, could anyone somehow summarize what all of that said? I don't understand japanese but by the looks of it, Ema Skye is there. But I am a little confused. I heard somewhere(from a person, don't remember who...) AA: 4 took place a few years after PW:AA, if thats true, wouldn't Ema at least look older?

I believe it takes place before, you can see everything looks bit more c.lassical in the character suit design via the japanese flash teaser-demo I linked up above.

If you compared her pictures there to her pictures from Ace Attorney one you'll find a subtle difference, obviously shes a bit older but not by much.

Oh it will happen alright, AA3 is pretty much confirmed when you kinda look at it. Wouldn't it be dumb not to have them release the new series right after in the states aswell?

This game has a huge chance of coming to the USA, especially because brisk sales of number 2 combined with "OMG VIRAL MARKETING ploy!!!111" that the contest is.

What -were- GS2's sales over here? Can't wait for this game, and the third one. I've played the first case of the third one, and it is pretty much the best starting case in the series (though it doesn't take much to do that, this one is actually epic and has plot content! :D) I thought Ema was cool- probably not cool enough to replace Gumshoe, but I'm pretty sure our beloved detective will have some sort of role in the new game as he has become pretty much a staple character. :D I really, really want Edgeworth in there somewhere too. Perhaps as a blackjack playing hobo? LOL.
I wonder what it'd be called if it was localized here? It won't be called Phoenix Wright anymore.

That's why they changed PW:2 into AA:2. So when a new protaganist(sp?) comes along, they wouldn't really have to change the titles too much so you could still tell its the same franchise.
Thanks for the info! That's really cool! It's quite nice to see Ema back! She always created really funny scenes with Phoenix Wright because of her lack of common sense.

Exactly, when the original Phoenix Wright was made, there were only 3 games. In those three games Phoenix was the lead character. Then number 4 was announced and it has a different lead and a different cast.
Hence why from number 2 onwards the series is known as Ace Attorney

Yeah, that sucks. Which is why I am importing AA4. I know some Japanese and that is decent enough to play through half the game. That's too long for me...Oh well, I'll wait!
