It's expanded the games where they're more then a cut rate Easter egg hunt?

Well it's obviously the "fault" (still just an opinion) of the designer, but as this is a Pokemon DS thread I placed the burden on the console. If you guys like the Pokemon games, I hope you keep enjoying it, but I can't bring myself to "accept" the changes made.

Pokemon Gold & Blue were my favourites, GBA era was ok, but the N64 had some pretty decent Pokemon games.

I'm thinking it's pokemon Grey...

Also, I would like to see a 3d Pokemon game where you can travel to every region... it would be, in a word, epic, and I'd be set for life as far as Pokeon is concerned. But I'm thinking the 3d Pokemon game is a Ruby/ Sapphire remake.

The problem with Pokemon is that, although it is a good, fun cocept, they don't do much to push boundaries on technology, even with all those sales. They should have had 3D graphics by 2005 and the DS just made it harder.

I'd rather they do a full fledged RPG in 3D on the Wii. It'd be the best thing for the series.

The Wii game will most likely be an update of Battle Revolution which will include the 5th gen Pokemon.

Not exactly... too hard to explain, so I'll give an example, look @ Zelda, there have been "very few" changes there too, but yet each game feels completely different, same with pokemon lol.

Not necessarily as the games are fundamentally similar. Example : 8 gyms, Elite Four, Champion etc. It would be awesome if they really took the series for a real roller coaster ride next installment with all the additions from HG/SS :)

Of course there will be another, and another after that, they will never stop pumping out the same game over and over again. Well until they run out of colours to call it that is.

I'm betting 20 Ultra Balls that this will be revealed in May. It's far too early for Grey or the Ruby/Sapphire remakes. We gotta have some spinoffs between every major pokemon game. :P

...Could you guys imagine Pokemon Stadium 3 for the Wii, with all the Pokemon, and WiFi battles with Rental Pokemon, Wifi Minigames, Double Battles teaming with a friend on multiplayer/WiFi against the gym leaders/stadiums? Sorry this isn't exactly about the DS, but still. :P

I like b/w and I think it made the games feel fresh, but I don't think we should be hearing about another major handheld pokemon game for a while yet.

HOWEVER, if it is this so-called 'grey' version everyone is talking about... I could believe that. Nintendo usually does release an updated version of their Pokemon games while the current handheld is being dropped in favor of the newest handheld, and make a little bit more money off of that old system yet.

DSi's are still around, Nintendo needs to get them sold to people. What better way to do that than with yet another version of b/w?

I think should stop making new pokemon games.it's been getting worse since diamond and pearl i mean it's torture at this point. what they need to do is remake pokemon blue and red with updated graphics and online battles. that game would sell like crazy.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. My favorit WAS pokemon Gold intill B/ W came out. I was blown away by how much fun I was having with White, not to mention that I for one really like the 5 gen pokemon designs except forthe "trash bag"and it's evolution.

So chances are that, IF, pokemon Grey is annouced that it won't come out for like possibly 2 years after it's announcement (a year and a half for Japan I guess).

They did announce B/W months after Platinum's world wide release. 10 - 11 months to be exact (right before HG/SS were released).
Black and White have not been out for 2 months yet so IF they did announce Grey, it would most likely be released late this year (later than September) or early next year in Japan.

Pokemon is bigger than a franchise its an actual media company.
