Well I've got the downloadable game up right now, and it's awesome. And from what I've heard, N+ is the same gameplay but with more of everything and multiplayer. Therefore, it's a great game. You may want to try out the free version first. Oh, and use the recommendations thread.
Download the original (N Game). The DS/PSP version is pretty much a longer, but slightly easier version of that one. You can also play the game with the original graphics(Pure) or the "Plus" graphics. It's a pretty good, challenging platformer that some people find frustrating but others find it's difficulty very amusing.
Don't listen to the naysayers, this game is awesome. It's a platformer. Period. If you don't enjoy them, you won't like this game. If you do, get it right now. It harkens back to the days of old and is an absolute blast to play. If you have a 360 get it for that, however. More modes and multiplayer. But the DS version is groovy too.
