-I'd like the ability to buy the eshop cards through vendors like Amazon, digitally.
-I bigger stream of VC content. We all know that snes/N64 is possible. Please stop with this "two games a week" nonsense to maximize sales.
-INDIE GAMES. I'd be willing to bet that a lot of creative stuff would come out of indie devs
Adding more than 3 games a week to the eshop is a dire need too. Nintendo shouldn't control when games release
Demos on the eShop. (And if you look at the "About Nintendo eShop" in Settings, it already says it's a place where you can download demos.)
Also, as Pixel-Perfect says, direct payment.
N64 on VC. We know the 3DS can handle it. And the N64 games are 32 MB at maximum, so no problems there.
PLEASE let me pay for downloads directly instead of making me buy the points in advance.

I went to download Super Mario Land 2, and I was a few cents off, so I had to buy five hundred more points. Thanks, Nintendo. :|
Ebook reader would be nice (PDF, epub, mobi, etc.). Coupled with the Nyko Power Pak+, it could be a nice alternative to ereader, tablet, or other such device.

Nintendo's not going to change that. You gave the $5 instead of 5 cents

Nintendo would be getting a lot more of my money if not for this system, trust me. ;)
It wasn't first party, but Retro did a great job with the achivements in the Metroid Prime Collection (other than the tradeable rewards, at least). I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't implemented something like that, especially with the ways it could be integrated with the 3DS coin system.I still like the idea of trophies/achievements, but I know Nintendo won't implement them. Maybe some in-game trophies? It gives me some other things to do, I wouldn't do otherwise.

Wait... You still need to buy those 500, 800, 1000 Nintendo points when buying eShop games? D:
I assumed you didn't with this tax mumbo jumbo.
Also, how many points did you have after downloading SML2? Did it take away points from that 500 depending on how much you needed? O.o

Oh you poor slob :(
You can use 19706 as your Zip Code to get tax free games, if it was because of those darned taxes.

Messaging, demos, 3D movies, 3D video recording, the ability to add folders and customize the home screen, Youtube 3D, Facebook 3D, Twitter 3D and DLC. Also, instead of having to prepay for the eShop, just the ability to buy stuff on the fly, a la the App Store.charizard1605
