Nintendo DS games that ugly on 3DS?

Hello, my friend says the normal DS games look absolutely horrible on the 3DS.

Is this true cause there aren't that many 3DS games yet?

your friend must be really really pedantic, it doesn't look horrible...its a little blur, expected when you go from a low res to a bigger screen. I prefer the bigger screen.

I have GTA:CW and it looks just fine. People just like to nitpick about everything.

And by the way, to everyone who says something negative about DS games on the 3DS: Isn't there a way to play your DS games unstretched? Like how they originally look? Cause you know.. That kinda solves the problem.

Yes there is. Hold Start and Select both down and then (while holding the buttons down!) start the DS game. Hold it and you'll see the image will get smaller. You can release the buttons.

Then you have a smaller image size, but with good quality.

Try it, really helps.

My games look exactly the same as they did on the Lite, like the same dimensions and everything - there are just black bars on the side of the top screen because it is wider on the 3DS. People complain.

My friend has it and I have not noticed it.

It just looks a little washed out. Definitely not horrible. And if it really upsets you there's a way to run it in the original size.

I think the complaints come from people who play the games full screen, meaning the image stretches out which makes it look worse.

It's a choice between that or black bars, I'd easily pick the latter.
