Here's a quick synopsis of the Nintendo EAD groups and my expectations for them.
Nintendo EAD Software Group 1 - Handles the Mario Kart series and Nintendogs - Hope: Should try to develop a WiiWare game (maybe involving the Yoshi or Nintendog series?), and/or work on the Pikmin sequel for Wii
Nintendo EAD Software Group 2 - Developed the Wii series, Animal Crossing games, and a few of the Starfox titles - Hope: Put the Wii series' games (and maybe Animal Crossing?) as WiiWare titles and/or work on the Wii iteration of Starfox
Nintendo EAD Software Group 3 - Main developer of the Zelda games - Hope: Work on an online-compatible Zelda Four Swords for WiiWare (maybe with another competent developer) AND the next Zelda game for Wii (and this time, it should be a REVOLUTION!)
Nintendo EAD Software Group 4 - Responsible for most of the handheld Mario titles - Hope: Collaborate with other 2nd-party developers AND develop (with HAL Labs) a new version Mother 3 to the U.S. (either on DS or Wii, but preferably Wii)
Nintendo EAD Software Group 5 - Developer of Wii Fit - Desire: Develop a Wii game that makes effective use of the Balance Board and appeals to both the casual and gaming crowds
Nintendo EAD Software Group Tokyo - Developer of DK Jungle Beat and (the FREAKING AMAZING) Super Mario Galaxy - Hope: I don't know...Kick more ass? (XD)
How are some of my expectations? Yes, I know Nintendo of America is reluctant to ship Mother 3 overseas and the fact that Animal
Crossing is filled with so much content. Oh! Did I mention that Mario Galaxy is my favorite game of all time? (And yes, Ocarina of
Time is nothing short of DAMN AWESOMENESS)
I want to hear your comments. And please, don't flame me. I want to create a fun atmosphere in the Wii forums
