Nintendo, give me a Gun.

Shooters. They are on every current gen system and have exploded in popularity over the years. I should be careful when I say this, but when I say shooter, I mean an honestly well thought out shooter that works well on the Wii hardware and integrates well with the obvious control set up, features online compatibility, and a plot that doesn't feature world war of any type. Xbox has Halo, PS3 has a few titles, PC has everything, Nintendo has... dumbed down ports that don't really mean anything.

Nintendo I know you're aiming for a smaller crowd with the Wii and that's fine, but you have to realize that all those kids are growing up and there's just something about picking up a gun and killing an enemy. You did it with Rare and Perfect Dark and 007, I have faith that you can do it again.

A. Nintendo is aiming for a bigger crowd with the Wii, not smaller.

B. Metroid Prime is a FPS with an above average review on GS.

C. Nintendo didn't do it, Rare did. Rare now publishes games for the 360 which aren't as good as their originals.

D. What is far more disturbing is the lack of quality non FPS titles on other systems. It seems like every game coming out lately is a FPS, even RPGs, which are apparently now hybrid FPS(see soon to be flop Hellgate London.

E. The kids who bought a Wii have mostly already grown up. The number one console for 8 to 15 year olds is the PC, which has a plethora of FPS, RTS, and MMO games, and not much else worth a shoutout. I guartnee you they didn't buy it for its plethora of FPS titles, that's why they own a 360, or don't own one, pick your posion.

H. Play whichever system tickles your fancy...but buy stock in Nintendo.

K. Also, the people you would need to talk to either barely speak english and don't care what an American who loves FPS games thinks about the Wii, or are a third party company, and therefore not nintendo, and should be addressed with their company moniker, aka :Activision.
