My wii says it connects to the internet and all. And when i go to terms and agreements, it asks if i agree. I click yes and its waiting (connecting to the internet) and after a while it says that it can't connect to the internet. What's wrong? why does it get internet and not allow me to agree to terms and agreements?

I am having the same problem. I am using a wired connection with a NON nintendo LAN adapter and a cossover cable. I have tried a reg cat 5 cable and it did not work. I call Nintendo and they say it is the LAN adapter not being one made by nintendo. I should also mention that our internet is a broadband Air card so that creates a whole other set of issues.

All I want to do is open the wii shop channel so I can add my point card and get some Download tracks for rock band 2. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I was told I can get a Cradle point which takes the broadband signal and coverts it to wi-fi.

I had the same problem. I am using a Sprint air card and had to bridge the connection. I am using the wired connection with a NON nintendo LAN adapter and a crossover cale. What I had to do was go in to my network connections and disable the firewall on all internet connections. I will leave it this way when I want to use the wii online. When the Wii is not online then you can just turn on the Main firewall and you should be fine. I have been messing with this since november so I am glad I FINALLY have closure. Hope this helps you out!

Check the the technical support page of Nintendo to see if your problem falls under any particular listed category:

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/index.jsp

If you can't identify your problem there, check your router's technical support page. If you use a Linksys router, here is the page:

http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support

If none of the above works, try contacting your ISP for technical support.

If you still can't fix it, you might want to make a few more calls:

Nintendo's Toll Free Number: 1-800-255-3700

If you use a Linksys Router:

Linksys's Toll Free Number: 1-800-326-7114
