Unless you only own a Wii, or really like inferior versions (with no redeeming qualities).

EA will be adding remin mode + online play to the PS3 and 360 versions, but the Wii version still has motion controls:|

meh don't care for basketball games... and plus with the way they mess up the football... game for the wii... that going in same direction now i am thinking.. i might want to stick with 2ksports the way ea making there sports is trash.

I was never interested in title in the first place, but seeing what has happened over the past while is kind of sad. How can you release a product to an audience if you yourself don't have any confidence in it? Oh right, put it on other platforms where you think it'll perform better. ... why not just save yourself the trouble of spending extra money by just making it a title on the other platform? That way you're also not setting up the Wii audience for false hope.

That's not gonna stop them from blaming Wii owners for their game's failures like they did with Dead Space Extraction. Seriously, the gaming industry is probably the only industry in existence where the companies actively blame the customer for their screw-ups. It's so stupid.

Yeah I probably wasn't going to get it on any system, as I never played the original NBA Jam and have no nostalgia for it. I'm definitely not getting it at all though as EA really screwed up. If they had just made the Wii version online it would have been more acceptable. There's really no excuse for it.

The game suits the Wii really well. It's an addictive game and I have fond memories of playing this game with mates back in the day. It's a shame about the lack of online support, which you would really expect to have been included, but its clear some effort has gone into developing the game. Even if they're about to shun the Wii audience. Maybe this has something to do with the lack of uptake for online gaming with EA games on the Wii? That or EA just expects Wii games to pirate it, so avoided putting in more effort than they felt was worth.

I am still picking this up tomorrow anyway. I dont really care about online. My kids will have fun with this on the Wii while I play 2k11 on the 360. I do agree that EA does suck.

Since the HD version is going to have the remix tour and on-line...so that what I'm buying.

But an 8.5 for the Wii version is a great score.

Or play online games either since they decide to ditch the feature for whatever reason.... Nice work EA. I was interested awhile back until I heard it won't have online support. No reason to buy it now...
