It'll be the last for this gen.So No More Heroes 1 might come out on other consoles? and will No More Heroes 2 be the last NMH game?

That isn't what we are saying. No More Heroes has a small chance that it will come out on other consoles, but I doubt it will. No More Heroes 2 will not be the last No More Heroes game, it will be the last one this gen. There have been rumors about a 2011 release of a new Nintendo console with a new controller and HD support, the president of Square Enix beleives the rumors, but if this is true, expect a new NMH games in 2011 or 2012.
[QUOTE="wiifan001"][QUOTE="psychobrew"]Yay!! More shovelware for the Wii!!!psychobrewsay what? No More Heroes is shovelware? The game is obviously not good enough for other systems. If it were good enough, it would be on them. Yep MGS4, DMC4, Assassins Creed, Bioshock, they aren't good enough to be on the Wii, thats why thier not on it.
What a relief... but it's a shame about Desperate Struggle being the last in the series with Travis.

Shovelware means crappy games
GabuEx
It doesn't even just mean that; it refers to a game that not only is bad, but which the developer obviously knew was bad and released it anyway just to cash in on the back of something much more successful. A game that happens to be bad, but which still hopes to sell on its own merits, is not shovelware.
A game has to be more than just bad for it to be shovelware. A game that is bad... is a bad game.
following your definition, anything can be shovelware, given the right adjectives. it's almost as pointless as the "is metroid prime an FPS or a FPA?" thing. i call ninja reflex shovelware. i call no more heroes a game that is great to some and terrible to others.God, no one really knows what shovelware really is anymore *facepalm*[QUOTE="Kenny789"][QUOTE="psychobrew"]Yay!! The game is broken
Broken = Shovelware
It wasn't broken... it was half-finished. :D
But still, I really liked it (though if I had paid $50 instead of $30 for it, I'd certainly have been unhappy with it).

I'm not I paid $50 for it and can't wait for the Sequal and Suda said they are fixing the complaints from the first game which is great because I thought it was a great game but I can see how people thought it was broken.[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]

1. Awesome avatar of one of the best platformers this gen
2. Yes, 6 in one half dozen in the other. I guess Suda saw something shiny when he was making the game and decided to never do the second half of anything in the game
The game is a great DVD with awful controls and shoddy visual performance, that fits shovelware in my book

Broken controls and broken visuals do indeed make it fact for everyone else
Everyone who's played that game dealt with broken controls and broken visuals

I don't always agree with you sir, but this makes up for everything past, present, and future. Yeah, it took one hell of a game to make me finally change the Bub avatar I had used for over 5 years. :D (I found it at the Henry Hatsworth website, where I also got a new wallpaper and downloaded the whole, epic soundtrack for free, woot!) Hell, I liked this game more than SMG (and I really liked SMG).

Or maybe everyone who has played the game didn't think the controls and visuals were broken...?The fact that you keep saying the controls/visuals were broken doesn't mean everyone thought they were broken, and your logic is pretty flawed because of it.
Oh,and since I thought the controls were fine and the visuals were fine as well, doesn't that mean that everyone dealt with fine controls and visuals, since that makes it "fact" for everyone else?I'm just using your logic here.

Yes well I recall a time when Jayson claimed it had too much waggle. That's right. He was clearly playing a different game. And as for visuals, its called style. Its like criticizing Picasso's paintings because his people don't look like real people.[QUOTE="fleig_man"][QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]

Yay!! More shovelware for the Wii!!!psychobrewNo More Heroes is shovelware? If NMH is shovelware then so is the rest of the Wii's library. Which it isn't :D
On Topic: Wow that is great news, when I heard he'd be making no more on the wii I thought a game like NMH would be on the PS3/360. Thanks for staying faithful suda!
we can put things into perspective this way. for those of us that enjoyed the first game and are looking forward to the sequel then suda staying with nintendo is great news. for those of us who did not like the first game at all the fact that suda is staying with nintendo has no effect. everyone wins.

Your credibility just flew out the window. Shovelware is made to look appealing, but the game purposely sucks. It is to make money.

The game versions of Wall-E were generally agreed upon by everyone to be bland, stock, and not really much fun - and the developers knew this; their track records were filled to the brim with games just like this. They sold well because people loved the movie, not due to any merit in the game itself. As I said in my blog entry on this subject, if it instead have been called "Francis the Unknown Robot", it would have sold terribly.
Thatis shovelware.

It wouldn't be able to make money of people didn't like it. It wouldn't be able to make money of people didn't like it. People buy shovleware thinking that it'll be good(usually for kids), cute box art, popular license, etc. They don't buy because they enjoy shovleware. Please Log In to post.
