Madden '08 Wii review is AWOL on the Gamespot.com...
What gives? Who else thinks thats busted considering it was given such a great showing last year?

Yeah i have noticed that on GS...I always see them give Wii games bad ratings...I mean the gave RE4 a good one which i thought was fine, then you looking at Zelda TP and they gave it an 8.8 WTF...that game deserved a better score then that...

Lol, I think it deserved an 8.5. I didn't like this one that much. I liked TP more xD
I like gamespot and ign, but i do trust ign's wii reviews more.Ponmop
Yeah, say what you want about IGN being wii lovers, at least they seem to enjoy the games which I can relate to alot more and hence why I trust their reviews more. That and gamespot is pretty much the last to review any given wii game.
I want to get madden for the Wii, any way the people at gamespot are Wii haters.machod_19
there r on g4 zelda best game last year and on gameinformer gave zelda a 10/10 but thenhere they don't even give a 9 and that only example and i don't think am getting it maddeni don't no yet
GS has given only two Wii games (not counting VC) scores over 9. They are RE4... and WarioWare Smooth Moves. WTF?
Although Mario Galaxy will probably warrant a 10...
Oh good grief.... maybe EA, since the 360 version is the one they're wanting to push (see commercials and other ads), that's the one they sent everyone for advance review?MAILER_DAEMON
EA claims to have backed the wrong horse and talks about taking on special projects with the Wii and then doesn't send out their flagship for review? Doesn't sound that likely to me...
IGN even goes into the newer aspects that were brought in to curry favor with the "Casual Gamer" segment of the market of which Wii is the biggest proponent and the top choice in the segment...
Sounds to me like somebody dropped the ball...

They couldn't suddenly change the marketing focus when it was only 2 months before it came out. These things take months, but I'm quite sure you'll see a difference next year. What's important as far as Wii owners are concerned is how good these new aspects are, as well as whether or not the online play is worth it. We'll just have to wait for the reviews. Please Log In to post.
