I don't understand why Nintendo games never seem to go down in price, no matter how old they get.

Nintendo is really pushing SMG2 as the "let's teach people how to play a 3D platformer" game. If that succeeds at gaining the NSMB audience, which I doubt, then the first Galaxy might see a sales surge. My guess is that Nintendo is hoping for that, so I don't expect a price cut right away. We have to be getting close to a Player's Choice group of games, though....
the sims 2 still sells. mw1 still is popular. lots of games older than a year still sale well. nintendo could lower the price on their best selling games but they arent about creating an image of being loyal to their fans. sony has their greatest hits line, ms has premium hits, what does nintendo have? maybe im overlooking something.hamherothird party game's price drops so fast, i don't know if the player's choice games are necessary
[QUOTE="judog1"]I know why Nintendo doesn't cut the prices but it doesn't make much sense to have sequel and a original game cost the exact same price of each other. maxgil2
Wait till SMG2 is available worldwide first then we may see some price cuts..
^This^
SMG2 doesn't come out in some countrys as late as July!
So I wouldn't expect any price drops until at least Augest, or the holiday season.

[QUOTE="fred1712"] I expect the sales to have a steady run because some people might have not played the 1st.SepewrathI think most people who wanted the first has got it by now. i dont :P...........yet!

If both are selling, why exactly doesn't it make sense?
what i was gonna say. although i find it unfortunate for the value shopper in me, froma business standpoint it makes perfect sense. cant really blame them...Please Log In to post.
