Yeah you gotta delete you're old games to make room for the new ones. You can redownload them again for free though.

I dont know what the big deal is about this. Yea, it sucks that the Wii doesnt have a big harddrive. But it only takes a min to dl most nes games, a couple to get a Wiiware. I ran out of space months ago, and only keep the games im playing dled. If i want to get a game back, i have 3 min to spare. Better then spending $400 on a console so it will have a bigger Harddrive.

Yeah unless you live in New Zealand were the ineternet it dead slow and it takes 15 minutes to download a snes game. Then deleting and re downloading is annoying. What can one do tho? that the only option.

buy a 2gb sd memory card that will give you alot of extra space then all you have to do is transfer from sd to console which only takes seconds. :)

May I add, put whatever games possible on an SD card if they're very important to you.

Because it only takes a few seconds to transfer them from the SD card, but to go to the shop channel to download them takes much longer.

It only takes a few seconds? Damn I must have a slow SD card. Wait are we talking NES or N64 games?

I'm a bit confused. Can we download games onto an SD card? transfer games saved on our wii to an SD card? or both? I have an SD card, but have yet to try it.

Yes, bigger games take much longer. However it's still much faster than going to the shop channel and re-downloading it.

As for now you have to download to the wii memory then you have to transfer to the sd card. as for playing from the sd card no go yet. but like I said earlier it only takes seconds to transfer to and from a sd card. besides that is the only option we have right now. I've also noticed with all my games on a sd card some games run smoother it must have something to do with the internal memory being empty. When I had alot of games stored on the internal memory I had some issues with games freezing up once in awhile. After freeing up some space on the wii there was less freezing.

You can save games on the SD card but you must transfer them to the Wii system to play them.
