Ok to leave DS on charger?

Hi guys. I was wondering if it ok to leave my DS plugged in to the charger all the time when not in use? I sometimes don't play it for weeks but I'd like it to be fully charged when I go to use it. Will it hurt the battery or anything? I'm also wondering the same thing about the PSP. Thanks! :)

I have left my DS and PSP charging for long periods of time before, it hasn't done anything bad to them and it shouldn't hurt yours either.

My DS Lite's been plugged in for 5 months straight with no noticable problems so far. I wouldn't worry.

I've heard it makes the batteries uses deplete sooner but I haven't seen it happen myself.

same all though I think the battery life on my DS phat died because I charged it so many times in the manual that all DS's come with it says that the battery is only good for 500 charges and then it will start to not be as long...which is what happened to my Phat I think. However you can easily replace the battery if you buy one online!

the ds stops charging when the light thing goes out. thats when you unplug the charger.

as long as its plugged in, you're wasting electricity
