I just wish I could use the Gamecube controller on the Wii Menu.Or better yet, when I have a Gamecube game inserted, have the console automatically start up the game, without going to the menu first.

But with the X360 you put the disc in and your away, with the Wii you HAVE to go through the screen, disc channel...loading...health warning and then you finally get your game...and that happens every single time.stike22
But that only takes like 40 secs whats so wrong with that?

Or being able to go to the options and just skip to the game? Similar to the Nintendo DS.

What I want them to do is allow you to see what GC game is in there. If the console can read the disc, it should be able to do what the GC did and at least give me that simple menu screen.

Oh... that's a health warning when the system first comes on? I always just hit the A button before my eyes have time to take anything in.Mike1978Smith

same thing with me. I don't see how its irritating. It goes fast, and it's really not that big a deal.

Nintendo has just released System Menu 4.1. In this new update, we bypass the opening health warnings, since we want to get sued for not warning people about the safety precautions. Seriously... Next we are going to see people complaining that we have to play the game. If you are talking about the health warnings at the beginning of Wii games, it has to be there. If you are talking about the whole Load Disk > Disk Channel > Hit Start I can understand. BUT! It doesn't bother me for that 10 seconds.

I would've prefered if the console booted the game first. You could have it like an option.
