but i dislike board games on consoles.. I guess that in that i`m REALLY old-school.. board game where ment to be play on a table, in a mountain house (or the beach) where you would lose track of who is next, fight about who is cheating and laught about it at the end :P
It is free on the web... maybe you can just play it there instead? Yeah, settlers is a cool game, but a bland settlers wouldn't do it for me. It needs at least the Cities and Knights expansion to be any fun. As for board games on a console, the thing that usually sucks about them is that the AI usually stinks. An all online version of the board game isn't too bad. And if we wanted more board games made into Wiiware games, we definately need Blockus and Ticket to Ride (Europe) too.
Of all things you pick a board game? What about a new 2D Sonic, Metroid, Mario, or Zelda? I think all of those would be much etter choices. If you want to play a board game why not play the real thing instead of a video game?

Maybe you can't get 5 other people together at 4:00 after work to play for 4 hours.... That's the reason online exists in the first place. Being able to find more people to play with less effort. I would have to say though that board games are usually enjoyed more when you are around a bunch of friends or relatives though...

There was also a sequel to A Link to the Past with the same concept on the same service.
You download the game then after 1 week another episode comes. After like 4 weeks, you have the entire game.
best board game ever! and its already on XBLA so they could easily port it.

I played the board game and was completey unaware of a XBLA acrade version and if i had an xbox i might care! Its not needed on Wiiware but it would be much appericated!

Two buddies of mine in college got into a series brawl over Monopoly. It was quite entertaining.
Yea it's a great board game and I imagine it'd be a whole more convenient as a video game too. Though it would lose that special social aspect.... ONLINE CATAN! Dam this game just sounds better and better.
Wii Shoot is needed on wii ware. its a game someone else came up with for wii ware. it doesn't exist.(a Nintendo made shooter with simple controls and Miis and very good on-line multi player)
