Why in the world would anyone want to browse the Internet from a console using a controller to point at each letter to type. It would take forever just to type a short sentence. Not to mention, it is near impossible to read the text on any given website unless you zoom in all the way, and then you can only view a small portion of a webpage at a time. I'll stick to my computer, thank you. Matthew_KaeserConvenience... If somebody's computer wasn't on and was in a room somewhere else in the house, it would be faster (if somebody knew what they wanted to look for) to simply boot up the Wii and quickly check a website. That's basically what it's for.

If you actually read what I posted, then you should more than know I have my Wii contected to the Internet and have experimented with the browser. How else would I know how it works? Are you actually going to tell me that you prefer pointing at each individual letter with remote opposed to typing on a keyboard?

The real answer to your question is to watch free porn on their TV.

I use it occasionally. Of course, it's not nearly as useful as a computer... but I can check my email while laying in bed... or sometimes I'll shut down my computer, go in my room, and remember that I needed to check the balance on my bank account or something. Instead of getting up, going in the other room, starting up my computer... I pick up the remote, get on the Wii browser, check out what I need to check, and I never had to ever get up.
Just because you don't have any use for it doesn't mean nobody else does.

Sure it takes me longer to type but not so long that it turns me away from this browser. (Took me like...30 seconds)

So I'll just use the Wii's, until I replace the computer mouse.

As long as you get the trial version the final version is free forever.y do ppl keep saying this? you do NOT need to have the trial version DLed in order to get the full version free. as long as u get a Wii and DL the full version BEFORE the end of June, then u don't have to pay anything, whether u have the trial or not. if u go to DL the browser after June, then u will have to pay 500 points.
If you don't get the free trial then the browser is 500 points

Matthew_KaeserI use my Wii about 50% of the time if I just want to check forums, e-mail, ebaying, etc. I don't need to zoom in to read anything, I have perfectly good eye sight and typing doesn't take TOO long. Auto-wordcomplete is decent enough. If you're not writing a lot of long paragraphs about web browsers on spots for games, it's not too bad.
