Obviously this game will have crossover problems. RPG fans don't seem to like change, judging by this thread... they have to have an effeminate-featured hero with big exaggerated, spiked up hair, an upturned collar, and a deep look in his eyes... and a sword that's 11 1/2 feet long.
 On the other hand, platformer fans think the game looks good, but don't like the idea of the turn-based RPG fighting elements.
I guess I fell into the second category more than the first. I'm not much of an RPG player, but I do enjoy the occasional platformer and can appreciate "cute" characters because I'm past the age where liking something cute is a threat to my "coolness" or manhood. I'd give the game a rental at least... looks kind of fun to me. I used to like RPG's when I was a young 'un, but they all got so repetitive I kind of came off them. If they actually did something unique like this I'd be willing to try it out.
