Overlord Dark Legend Hype! Box Art Added!

Set in a time before the original game, players take the role of a new young Overlord. As he revels in command of the Minions, our trainee tyrant will be able to take his growing pains out on the local fairy tale inhabitants as he protects his castle and lands. Connecting players to the game world in three dimensions, the use of the Wii Remote gives unprecedented control over the minions. For example, individual Minions can be plucked from the horde, held by the neck and then, by vigorously shaking the Wii Remote, throttled to imbue him with some Overlordly power and turn him into a manic minion missile. With a now-explosive body, the insane little critter can be guided into enemies with hilarious, if rather fatal, consequences.

The Graphics to this game are really impressive. The gameplay looks kinda stale to me though. Is there anything the overlord can actually attack instead of sending his minions in to do all the work? I see him swinging his weapon but there is virtually nothing trying to attack him. I've never played an overlord game that's why I'm asking.nini200

I didn't even know they were making an Overlord for the Wii. I still haven't played the first one, but I've been meaning to. I like the use-a-bunch-of-minions-to-wreak-havoc kind of game play.

Back in my Diablo 2 days, my favorite class was necromancer because you could just build up and army of skeletons and roam the countryside and have them kill everything (while sitting on the back lines casting spells and what-not). I see Overlord as something that kind of came out of that style of game play, so I hope this turns out good.

The background music in the trailer was very annoying.

This game is like Pikmin, which I never got into, so I'm definitely not getting this game.
