After looking at all the wish we had this on the VC threads, i was suddenly hit with the thought that Sega and probably Nintendo could make a killing off of people if the Wii had Sega Saturn and Panzer Dragoon Saga available for download. I know i would be one of the first in line to get it. Was wondering if anyone felt the same about the game, would you guys/gals get it if it was on the VC?

I wouldn't, because I already have it for my Xbox. (unlocked in PD: Orta) If I didn't already have it, then I would. It's the best thing since the original Starfox on the SNES.

Never played it. In fact I'm not sure I've even heard of it. Also... I don't think Saturn games would fit on the Wii's tiny memory.

I was thinking that too, but they might be able to fit some of them. Capcom somehow managed to port Resident Evil 2 onto the N64 so if the devs are willing to put in some extra effort, then it should be possible.

Well I geuss all we can do now is wait really. Nintendo is releasing games all the time on the VC, so I doubt they'll just get bored of a console or run out of games. I would look forward to it if they did though.

They'll have to work out a few things before they could bring any Saturn game to the Wii. Storage most notably (Saturn games came on CDs, which meant they could potentially be bigger than N64 games), but also just programing a functional emulator (all previous attempts have been flawed).

Your probably right, it would most likely take up a lot of space. But it would be nice to be able to play again.
