Well, I think you should continue to play it? What's wrong with having a little fun right? Is that a crime or what?
And as a sidenote, i think Pokemon is getting known in the social norms as a "for-kids" game because it lacks the stereotypical game substance - blood, gore and um? sexual scenes? But whatever, people also think that that game is not and RPG but truth is it is.

Lol, my brother said that when i bought pokemon pearl. he decided to shut up after i kicked his dialga's ass with my palkia.
there was a long topic on GameFAQ's about this where a whole bunch of peoples were like telling their age. Everyone was old. (I mean, of course, you have to be 13 to join GameFAQ's) but um yeah. you're fine. I'm 15 too :]
