Who here (Besides Me) Think that Nintendo should have the Perfect Dark Series back on their console?  For the most part, who here thinks that Nintendo should buy back Rare?

The developers (the good ones) from Rare isn't working for Rare anymore, but I would cry tears of joy if Nintendo got Rare back with the developers they had back in the N64 days. I wouldn't mind to get Rare back without those great developers either, but it wouldn't be the same as before.

Yes they should make a new game, I loved the perfect dark games. They should also put the N64 version on the VC games.

I think Rare hit their peak on the N64 and i personally havent found their recent games to match the high standards of old so i dont think nintendo should bother buying them again and should concentrate on companies like retro who have a lot of potential

Perfect Dark Wii will only be a dream. Rare hasn't been that good since N64 anyways in my opinion

I think Rare should go multiplatform at least. Their greatest games were on the N64 and their innovation would be great on the Nintendo Wii. I feel that they're being held back by Microsoft and the 360. Not that anything is wrong with the 360, but it doesn't really stretch the imagination as much as the Wii.

Someone here said that all the top people from Rare left anyway, and that's a good point. Some of them work for Free Radical now, and Timesplitters felt like a Rare game to me. However, Rare is merely a shell of its former self. Diddy Kong Racing on the DS should be excellent though.

I agree with you on most things, but even Diddy Kong Racing DS is destroyed. A poor remake of the great original game

It would be nice if they come back to Nintendo side and make a exclusive Perfect Dark for the Wii.

The team who made PD Left Rare Right before Nintendo sold it, they formed Free Radical (They make the Time Splitters Series).

I love PDZ on the 360, but i still yearn for the N64 days..............

Well, microsoft owns rare now, so it will be a long time before you see a perfect dark made for wii. Rare cant go multi-platform/multi-company because it has a contract with microsoft. It may be a possibility for rare to allow the rights to perfect dark 64 to be released on the vc.

Honestly, I believe, better yet I know that Xbox isn't using Rare to their full potential even if key people left.  I mean if they really wanted to use Rare, then they would have Released a new Killer Instinct by now, makes me wonder if Nintendo is going to get Killer Instinct on Vc.  I wonder if Xbox has the rights to all of Rare because if you think about it, Donkey Kong and Star Fox would belong to Xbox too and wouldn't appear on Smash Bros let alone have their own games on the Gamecube.  Unless there's something we dont know about. . .

I totally agree with you, Retro Studios are making Killer Games.  To me, they made the best overall games on the Gamecube which were the Metroid Series.  Those two games looked as if they pushed the Gamecube beyond its limits.  They played beautifully.  They had Super High replay value.  The Soundtracks lived up to the Metroid standards (Which isn't an easy thing to do because the astronomical vibe the songs give you, makes you feel as if you are actually in outer space, especially Red Soil Swampy, That song was a banger).  Metroid has been rumored to have online play but I'm not sure if it will be.  It would be freaking awesome if they make it Wifi compatible.  Nintendo does need to use Retro Studios to the fullest of their capabilities.  That is an Awesome production team.

I've tried to go to the nintendo home page Forums and input this suggestion but I couldn't make a new thread.  I'm not exactly sure why either.  I'm going to have to get this through to Nintendo some how.  I have my ways.  They should buy Free Radical and they already own parts of Rare that they can never give up.  Star Fox and donkey kong are two examples.  But still, I think they should buy Free Radical and Rare back then they could form a New Rare and give all of us loyal fans what we've been waiting for from the start.

PDZ is an embarrassment to the original PD, as are a lot of Rares newer games. They can stay where they are!!! Although if Nintendo could buy the rights for Rare's N64 games to be on the VC I would be overjoyed.
