wow all you can mentin is the internet multiplayer. PSP has that also. Can your ds surf the web? no. Can it play movies? no. Can it play MP3s? uhhhh...n ot right now. Can it play games with as good grafixs as the PSP? no. see all those things the ds cant do and the PSP can do even more than that. DS is last gen along with the wiiqueenfan66

Well, if this is true, it's bad news for sony. It's pretty sad if a nintendo 2nd gen handheld can outsell a sony 3rd generation handheld. Who knows how badly a nintendo 3rd generation handheld would own a sony 3rd generation. Sony should be thankful I say.

^ To add insult to injury, then there 'first gen' system, the GBA, still beat them.

Gamers want gaming machines. Not an Internet-TV-DVD-MP3-Toaster-Blender-Mediocre gaming machine.

  Hah... You make me laugh. Why does a game system need to play movies? Or Mp3's Buy a Ipod if you want music. Grafics are just as good as the Psp. Can the Ps3 point and click. Noooo, al u do is tuuuurrrn. It does have great grafics though.

Forgot to add something, my friend sold his ds for a psp, and so we played each others handhelds for a while. while they do have good grafics, it took like forever for the frikin game to load. He already beat 3 mario levels on NSMB while i was waiting for it to load. He made a bad mistake

I believe the reason they mentioned that during their conference was because the DS isn't as networked as the PSP.

I don't know if you are joking, but if you are being serious, then I pity you. The DS can surf the web, watch movies, play MP3's and it has great graphics for a handheld. The PSP is graphically advance, sure! But that's the thing with $ony. It's all about graphics and technology, and jack all to do with gameplay. And that is why $ony are failing miserably these days. In conclusion, the PSP is overrated and disappointing .

people dont get anythign do they.. last generation is gba.. not ds it came out these years so its now gen...as psp..how something uses the net and mp3 is not anything telling its next gen or not... open your mind some of you.. next gen has nothign to do with graphics (or multimedia) and what EB games said was stupid enough from before..(but thats an affective capitalistic way of making things sell by declaring it the future) it just means future..generation? people..its as easy as that in meaning its just some assuming that better graphics and hardware means its the winner or the next gen but i wouldnt say it means that necessary..
