play wii wifi enabled games using lan adapter?

i havethe datellan adapter, i noticed that all the new wii games that are playble online say wifi, do you kno if i can play games like pkemon revultion, mario strikers and geometry wars using my lan adapter or if i need to buy a wifi adapter?

If you notice it does not say Wi-Fi. That blue symbol says Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection which is the name of Nintendo's online service. Same way as Xbox's service is called Xbox Live. If you can get on the internet with your Wii, you are fine.

The name of course comes from the DS's online service, which was just through WiFi. Since carrying the name over to the Wii, I suppose it was inenvitable that people would get confused...

Geometry Wars is just online leaderboards isn't it? I wish it was online coop though.
