So I have been playing this game for a few hours now, and I have to say that I am hooked. Not only has the game itself hooked me, but it also has me hooked on the system, as I see this now as a portal console somewhere between a gamecube and a wii, unlike the NDS which was lacking in real hardware power. I can't wait to get some of the other awesome software titles!
However, as I play Zelda, I have trouble figuring out if I am really bad at the game, or just trying to do things before I have the ability to do them. For instance, I just got to the Gorgon (probably spelling that wrong, but it's the rock eater guys on Death Mountain), and I have found that up to this point there has been a ton of stuff I have tried to do, but failed horribly. Here are just a few things:
1) Solve the Lost Forest puzzle
2) Try to catch all the chickens for that woman in the village at the bottom of the mountain
3) Try to solve the music puzzle with the giant rotating platform in the village at the bottom
And all three of those times, I may have done a little bit in the way of progress, but I was ultimately thwarted. So here is my question: Is there stuff that I should skip over with the intent to come back later to complete? Because I just don't know what I am doing wrong lol. Also, as a random side question, do you play as kid link the whole game, because I got the impressive you also got to play him as an adult. No spoiler information, just a simple answer will suffice... Thanks guys, still an amazing game that I have to force myself to put down
