My brother is 7 and he has had his ds litefor a while, and has dropped it many times. But today he dropped it in the front where the screens are. For some reason the game kept going on the top screen(the game was pokemon diamond) but the bottom screen had no marks, scraths, or cracks but the screen had alot of lines and black blobs. Is this atechnical problem? Should we send it to nintendo to get fixed or buy a new one????

turn it off then back on and see if it changes. if not then you're going to have to get it fixed or buy a new one because nintendo wont replace itsince you dropped it. sorry for the bad news.

Return it, if you can't then use this one (if the blobs aren't too obstructive).

Repair is usually cheaper then buying a new one. Who knows you may find a sympathetic tech who will give you the lowest rate or void the repair fee. Be polite and honest when you call.

well i made up some story and nintendo end up fixing my ds lite for free. but if u return it, i would cost around 80 something. just try find a used one from ebay, it usally end up around 70 something with shiiping, and maybe u even can find a better deal at ebay.
