is there a risk of screwing up your game if you use the global trade center in jubilife city?

i've tried this once, and the pokemon i ended up getting looked hacked. it had the event ball, which should only be gotten from events, and it had pokerus.

does receiving hacked pokemon mean that your game cannot be used during tournaments? also, is there a risk of screwing up your game?

never got myself a hacked pokemon (as far as i know, at least), but i've seen one once "Gliscor, Lv100 mantyke. trade for: Lv90+ Gliscor" and the sprite was... yes a gliscor. no idea if the rule applies if you dont use the hacked pokemon, and also i dont know what could happen to your game.

Nothing happens with hacked Pokemon that can screw up your game, so you should be fine.

The only problem is if you try to put an obviously hacked Pokemon in Pokemon Battle Revolution for the Wii, it turns into a Bad Egg, which when hatched (yes I actually hatched one) restarts your game to the menu. :)

Not really, unless you somehow get your hands in a missingno.

The hacks are usually pretty obvious, like a lvl 4 Ho-Oh. At most, you'd probly just get a bad egg.
