Pokemon Platina NEW PICS

It maybe called Pokcet Monster in japan but everyone says Pokemon there. Blazevoir

In Japan its actually called "Pocket Monsters". And in the US it's called Platinum.

I call it Platinum because it fits in the the category of colors and stones (with all the other games).

i wish they released the better version instead of first giving us a "beta"...

Will Shaymin Sky Forme be Grass/Flying or just Flying?

Shaymin was so underated in D/P I used Shaymin anyways very nice seeder. Sky Forme might make it better.

I don't think Shaymin is underrated, it's just that it's unobtainable outside of Japan.

You people are talking more about the NAME of the damn game rather than what the topic suggests. Haha.

Anyway, I am not impressed. I'm really sick of the way Pokemon is turning out. I'm 20, and still play the games. Ruby had to be my favorite, but even then it had gotten obnoxious. The original Pokemon were thoughtful and creative (the creatures). And now, they just seem to be pulling ideas for new Pokemon designs out of their a$$es. Seriously, does anyone think the newer Pokemon look simply retarded? They put no thought into it.

"Okay, let's take a brontosaurus, some bananas, and a palm tree. Oh, and put wings on it. We'll call it Tropius. Tropical saurus, get it?? Harr harrr, we're the best."

That's how I see it. I miss the old Pokemon designs. Especially the starter ones. I don't wanna use a monkey, penguin, or a damn turtle that looks like it has down syndrome. Sheesh. I REALLY want to enjoy the new ones as much as I used to but I find it very hard. The characters look stupid, too.

They need to make a full-on 3D RPG Pokemon for the Wii. That's how I see it. The DS has a lot of possibility but they don't utilize it correctly.

How many people have you seen use Shaymin? Not a lot. People mostly say it's underrated for it lacks in Moves. it can only SubSeed and do very little other than SubSeed.

I think this new Shaymin will be so much better. With the help of Flying moves this will become better.

I think it will be Grass/Flying. And Shaymin isn't underrated he's just unobtainable without using cheats here in the US and Canada and Europe.

That's because no one has it. Because you (well you can cause you're in Japan) can't get it.

As much as I'd like to say something against Pokemon I can't because I know when it comes out that will be another few months of my life gone. Not complaining though keeps me amused.

Oh...Well I'm going back to Denver soon anyway. Well if it's Grass/Flying then it would be an excellent Pokemon. Now I just Platina to have a lot more areas.Blazevoir

There is already the Torn World, another thing that is suppose to be like the battle fronteir, and probably the region will be different cause it's in an "Ice Age".

It looks promising. I just wish they'd make one massive game that involves all of the different regions, or at least a way to port whole characters to other regions/games.

But that wouldn't help the cashcow. :(

Wasn't there one Pokemon game where you can go back to a past region? I forgot but that was a fun expereience. I hope in Platina we can go abck to a region, battle the E4, and Gym Leaders their. I'd prefer Johto. Maybe Hoenn...I dunno.Blazevoir

You're thinking about Gold, Silver, and Crystal. That was my favorite entry in the series. Gold and Silver were the biggest improvement between games in the entire handheld series, we need another big improvement like that.

DS's successer? That won't happen for a while. They can't really change much except the light brightness, the size, and enhance the battery life. Nintendo literally dug themselves a hole when they added a touch screen to the DS. nobody wants a new DS that cannot play DS games, that would be like a GBA that can't play GBC games...it just dosen't fit, and Ninty would lose a lot of money. So i say that we won't get a new Ds for a while, unless they just update the hardware to allow better graphics, or enlarge the screens, etc

Oh and the guy who had a heart attack when the TC called it Platina...this is the internet...get over it, and try to respect what the TC and anybody else who calls it Platina wants to do. don't be a jerk. If you got something wrong with it, go away. I say that YOU are the ignorant one, because you are ignoring the other cultures of the world. So don't put somebody down for giving us good info.

How customizable is it? I don't mind the male characters hat, but I would really like to change it.

Also, for people still going on about Platinum/Platina, look a few pages back. I posted all you need to know. If you're too lazy to check, Platinum was given its name from the Spanish word Platina. They both are correct, simply Platinum is more commonly used. That's like saying the colour blue in another language is made up, because it isn't the common version you use :roll:.
