Ahhhhhhh, seriously they're so awesome. These guys are instantly some of my favorite legendaries.

yveltal looks awesome definitely my most favorite bird pokemon

I don't think anyone is doubting there are other RPG series that are of a higher quality than Pokemon, but that's not really the point. There is no other game out there like Pokemon - and the Pokemon games do what they do so well, that's why they have an avid fanbase. I don't think fan's are being 'robbed' of anything, people wanted a new mainline Pokemon game for the 3DS. They're getting it in October.Haziqonfire

I'm not sure which version I'll get. I don't use legendary pokemon and choose whichever version has the better content.

I am quite sure that I'll be picking Chespin as my start though. Man the visuals are far beyond anything I expected from Gamefreak

I really hope the region is as environmental as Hoenn, also the new starters look awesome, I'll definitely be going with Fennekin (if it doesn't evolve into a god damn fire/fighting type :| ) or Chespin (Grass starters ftw)

Black and White (and the sequels) are amongst the best entries in the series. I'd say B/W2 fixed the whole "streamlined" thing, there's a lot more postgame content for once you've beaten the story. Gen IV put a downer on everything in my own opinion, but Gen V reinstated my outlook on the series. Gen VI looks to improve even more :D

I think I'll be picking Fennekin as it reminds me of two of my favourite Pokemon - Eevee and Vulpix :).

Outside of Generation I the only gens that introduced new Eeveelutions were Even numbered gens. So Generation 6 might introduce new Eeveelutions if the trend continues.

I love Hoenn's diverse environment. One moment you're on the beach, then you're at a desert, then you're in a town on the base of an active volcano, then you're at a city entirely composed of treehouses, then on a town floating on the water, and then you're at an isolated city on top of a dormant volcano.

I would love to see a region with lots of content and originality in XY. Less generic cities and towns, more unique locations. I'm definitely intrigued by those mysterious domes in the desert.

Yeah, it's basically a straight line until you hit the E4, then post-E4 you really only have the Battle Subway and Cynthia.

I feel BW2 fixed all these problems though, the world is much more open with many areas you don't have to go to unless you want to explore and even some of the places you do have to go through have plenty of extra areas you can check out at your leisure. That, and the post-game is filled with tons of areas to explore, the PWT, White Treehollow/Black Tower, and a plenty of awesome high level trainers to fight.

I am not one to eat up anything Nintendo (or any company) throws at me, and I have not bought a pokemon game since Gold and SIlver (ok I bought and sold Heart Gold very fast), but this game really interests me. I hope it is as good as past ones with more features in addition to the new graphics and such.

This isn't true.

I've been throwing things at little kids all day and they seem to have very different reactions depending on the weight of the object thrown.

Wierdly enough, these games are named after sex chromosomes. :shock:

It's real, just very hard to get to because of the random number thing, and yes it's basically pointless.

I agree completely, chromosomes were the first thing that popped into my mind. I'm just saying they have two routes they can go:

1. name the third X,Y,Z with a snake legendary, giving the naming a double entendre with sex chromosomes and the 3D coordinate system. I say snakes because not only would that make the Norse mythology idea come to more life, but Snakes don't use an XY sex determining system. They use a ZZ (males) and ZW (females) system.

2. Make the "third game" two sequels like B2/W2 and call them XX/XY.

I'm just saying they have the potential to be based off of all 3 things (biology, math, and norse mythology). I personally favor the biology perspective.
