Twilight Princess. Because it's Zelda. I don't really feel like typing a paragraph, so that's enough said.
Both are pretty good games, but the battles in Okami are kinda stupid. Okami has great visuals and the brush system is fun, so if you are looking for something a different give it a try. Also Okami is less common than any Nintendo-published game, so if you want both games, I suggest you get it first.
[QUOTE="enterawesome"]Never played Okami, so I can't comment. But TP is REALLY hard to beat, that game is amazing.[/QUOTE
no it's not...oh you mean as preferred. Then yes it is hard to beat, mainly because 5 million people have played it, but only 150,000 Wii owners have played Okami, (many of them had the PS2 version too).
TP always wins this vote for that simple reason. My vote still goes to Okami: More Colorful, better music, better story or rather stories, and there is not a single bland character in the game, everyone has some history, somthing funny, sad, exciting or helpful to say.
TP... it has the master sword, and2 real characters, Midna and Zant.
I actually preferred Okami more. I'm not that big on Zelda games, so TP was okay, seemed familiar. Okami was fresh, and was brilliant even for being a port.
I really loved TP, but I have to say Okami was a better game. I felt Okami had better art, better story, better characters, better gameplay. Okami had a lot more to do, too. It has so much, I found it to be a much longer game than TP. Okami obviously borrowed a lot from the zelda series. I can't wait for the new zelda, though.
I played both games recently, and I think Okami was much better than TP. Although I really liked TP, it wasn't as good as Okami in terms of storytelling, especially during the ending of the game you mainly go from dungeon to dungeon without any storytelling in between. You can't deny the quality in any of these two games, so it's probably just a matter of taste. I found the Wii controls for Okami to be great as well, I didn't have any of the problems that are mentioned in reviews.sictelikoa lot of people votes TP without having played Okami, thats why this post is flawed.Okami beats TP in every way from graphics, to gameplay,to story.

Yet I have played both and enjoyed TP a lot more. from the people who wrote here their reason, Okami should be higher on the poll. Most tp voters just clicked TP.I know its possible for some people to preffer TP even after beating Okami, but id see it less likely than the other way around.
Well, LOZ:TP was good. but it had a lot more boring and tedious moments than Okami did to me
Okami's world is so beautiful to me, TP was just grown up link. I really loved the WW art better.
both are solid games, but Okami uses the IR in a better more interesting way to me, and its story is better to me only because i was so upset after 40 hours of building up Zant as the big bad guy, its like "we got you! its really ganondorf! gotcha!"
i was disappointed they didn't make Zant into more of a bad ass new villian and decided to skip out on making his story deeper and more important and were like GANONDORF is da mastermindz!!!!!
Okami story ain't exactly mind boggling, but it didn't upset me like TP. I'm really getting tired of fighting ganon
Okami is just overall more original to me.
Yes its sad, a 4 year old PS2 game that gets ported to Wii may be better than a cl assic nintendo IPs most recent installment. I also found Okami's dungeons to be a lot more interesting with better boss fights with the expections of the Sand, Water dungeons in TP
As much as I love the Zelda series, I gotta go with Okami on this one.
Twilight Princess was good, but it felt too much like a rehash of Ocarina of Time. The game world is partly what made the game feel that way, because many of locations that were in Ocarina of Time were in Twilight Princess, just with a different layout. That and the gameplay -- which was basically the same Ocarina of Time's as well -- further conveyed that feeling. It was a good game, it was just way to similar to Ocarina of Time is all.
Whereas Okami didn't have such problems -- despite its Zelda-like nature. And that's because everything felt fresh, as everything from the aesthetic and some of the gameplay elements (such as the Celestial Brush) were things that we hadn't seen a videogame up to that point. Thus, making it a more unique experience overall. Which is something that can't be said for the Zelda series.
The only word I have is: Duh.
If that doesn't explain it to you then you have no business being here :P
Okami had a much more original story, less tiresome and redundant dungeons, a better art style, and less outdated gameplay mechanics. People who would argue that Twilight Princess is in any way a better game have either not played Okami or have infantile tastes.cutmaclass1
Wow, so opinions don't matter anymore?
