As amazing as Okami is, I prefer Twilight Princess because it has more enjoyable combat and dungeons. However, Okami is still my favorite PS2 game, and is an incredible experience.
Twilight Princess because it could hold my interest for more than 2 hours. I'm sure Okami is a good game but I just couldn't get into it.
I never played Okami, and Twighlight princess is a great game.
Many people think TP is too easy. I don't really think it's too easy except for some of the boss fights (just a few of them);)
I'm a huge Zelda fan, since SNES glory days, and as much as I loved Twilight Princess, and still consider it a game upon games, Okami was just beautiful. There's no other word to describe it. A trully beautiful game.
I actually did play both games unlike many of you who are voting without playing Okami first. This is a tough choice because they are both so similar and both so great but in the end I just enjoyed Okami more. I loved how it felt like Zelda but so much more fresh at the same time. Okami wins.
okami takes forever and doesn't feel as epic to me. The style takes away from the substance imhoGunSmith1_basic
Have to say you are wrong about the forever thing. Time wise you can have it done in a single day, maybe 12 hours at most if you are trying just ot get to the end. It took me 25 hours to get to the end my first time to beat it (an additional 14 to get all the beads, sun fragments, etc. My second run through for everything only took 24 hours (that included all the animals being fed too). TP on the other hand took nearly 56 hours for everything, and it was tedious and the reward wasn't even worth it.
As far as epic goes, that term is getting whored just like hardcore, some people think epic is just about the size of the world/bosses/number of enemies to be fought/dungeons/length of quests. I thought Okami was a better game because the world really needs you. It's dark, the land is in chaos, people are missing their things or faith even, the gods are missing and there is a real sence of urgency unlike TP where no matter when or where you go everything is just fine...
That's just my Opinion on the matter

the people who didn't vote for okami are the ones who haven't played it, or thought it was too hard to draw with the brush and gave up :roll:thrubeingcool13
Sure.............
I wasn't a fan of either, but TP had great items like spinner, dominion rod, and double clawshot. Okami had some cool attacks, but I enjoyed TP more overall.
