Does anyone know if the DS Lite is going to have a price drop any time soon? I really want a DS Lite Onyx but I don't want to buy it for 129.99 when a couple weeks its only 99.99 or 109.99. Does anyone know?
 If you really, really want a price drop, your best bet is to wait till Christmas and see if any shops are doing sales or anything like that, even then it's not 100% guaranteed. You can always go for a preowned (second-hand) one if you really want one for cheaper.
They will have some bundle deals though. Pokemon bundles for instance. Also the people in Japan pay close to 180 dollars for a DS Lite so don't complain. Don't bring up the wii price they are paying more if they want to have wiisports and Nintendo knows the Japanese would pay more. Wii sports is selling at nearly 1 to 1 ratio. Yes the Japanese have to buy wii sports sepeartly and it costs as much as afull priced retail game.

Agreed. I wouldn't look for a price drop anytime soon. I just got me a black one and my girl a white one a few weeks agao and had one hell of a time finding my black one. I had to call 5 or 6 stores before I found a black one. I had them hold it and ran and got it.
it won't happen in a couple weeks so dont worry about it. $20 price drop wouldn't be too big of a loss. isn't two months of gaming worth $20? just a thought.
They likely won't drop the price for years on the DS lite. They sell every unit produced at the current price. Why would they want to drop the price when they aren't seeing any reason to? Only retailers may do that and that would likely be as part of a promotional deal at that store. The store would be losing money in the hope of gaining a lot of money from the buyers of the DS lite who would be getting lots of other things at the store doing the promotion. Amazon for instance has had bundles say a DS lite and a free game. You will not be seeing a price drop on the DS lite till a new model highly unlikely or the sales drop enough and the inventory builds up, also when the successor to the DS the next gen DS comes out.

Second that. I live in Norway, and if your lucky you will find a DS for 1200 NOK (around US$196). It normaly retails for around 1300-1500 NOK (that's 212-245 in US dollars).
