Project Deluge ( sink your teeth into this Zelda fans)

If this is not a fake, and if nintendo fans would react like that I wish they don't announce this at all, they should just make the game so fans wouldn't spoil this great idea.

Why would you want to have another mute Link and the same story all again?

Of course the classic zelda plot is very appreciated and still valued. But new horizons, such as this project, will put the series into another market and a vast new world full of new things and with more options and choices for you to make and live as you please within this world. I think this game would be great, and it will use the full potential of wii's hardware. I expect a vast world full of side quests and a hero with a great personality.

No, its not Zelda, TO YOU. The world and story of Zelda expands far beyond Link, Ganon, and Zelda, and its about darn time they start to explore some other possibilities before the formula is beaten like a dead horse. I don't think the news is real, but its certainly time for Nintendo to go in a differerent direction with Zelda. Stop catering to the status quo crowd, Nintendo! Make it happen!

Also...if Miyamoto actually believes that story is not important....well the guy at least knows about great game play...but story is DEFINITELY IMPORTANT.

I doubt it's real but it sounds amazing. I've always wanted another game like Majora's Mask. What I dont get is, a lot of the members here were hoping for advanced technology in a new Zelda game, and now they're complaining again.

Damn, even when there's a rumor that might be true, you find something bad with it and complain just for the sake of it. (Ive done that before, too)

This kid or teenager I suppose, thinks he's the hero and does everything possible to stop Ganondorf. But since he is not the chosen one he cannot extract the Master Sword nor does he possess the triforce of courage.

This could be the most "human" hero of a Zelda yet. No triforce of courage, he can't kill Ganondorf without the master sword, and thereby is ultimately defeated. The gods realize they cannot stop Ganondorf, and the flood occurs.

Zelda fans should be stoked, I hope this is the new story.

i agree with you. I actually do like the story line that comes with this game fake or not. I only hope it comes true. I can just imagine what it would be like to play a zelda game like that.

I'm loving the whole idea - makes me giddy just thinking about it. My only concern would be what about the final boss fight? If Ganondorf is guaranteed to be victorious, wouldn't a final fight against him be pointless? In any case, I'm expecting that "Project Deluge" is a hoax, but a hoax with a lot of good ideas for the Zelda franchise. Miyamoto and Aunoma should take note.
