honestly, if hyou just have a wii , i hope you do get to play re5, so keep hope alive and try to get another system or pray for a port and enjoy this game.pmpmn11*sigh*, mate , the developers know what their doing, your lack of knowledge of the Wii proves your comment as a failure
the developers do know what they are doing , they are releasing it on the ps3 and 360. hoping for it to come to the wii, lol who has a lack of knowledge and common sense.pmpmn11If they release it on the Wii, they're bringing more customers=profit, thats what business are counting on

You mean less customers and less profit
A company does not make money building games from scratch on a second place platform
RE5 is using the RE4 engine, so far the only new thing I have seen is the partner which could be a combo of Ashley and Luis from RE4, Chris can direct the partner to help him with moving crates and stuff but this also happened in RE4 where Ashley was required to perform tasks.
Dead Rising Chop Til You Drop seems to be making more modifications to the engine then RE5 (as seen in the Mall Massacre video), to replicate the original experience, the character has many of the moves, can drive vehicles and pick up items to use as weapons, and that game only exists because of the success of both RE4 and REUC on the Wii, both sold over a million and Capcom would be satisfied if it sold half a million. It wouldn''t suprise me if the team behind all three Wii games were assigned to do RE5: Wii Edition now that DRCTYD is done.
RE5 on Wii wouldn't have to look bad either, they could take what RE4 had and add light scattering, heat distortion, depth of field blur and real time shadows all shown spectacularly in first or second party Gamecube games like Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Sunshine and Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3 Rebel Strike.
[QUOTE="nintendoboy16"]He said it's possible, not confirmed. Infinity Ward did the same thing with CoD 4, but it turns out, dosen't fit. Same might apply with RE5.PicesYa, but this one has a higher chance...I mean, come on, who expected RE4 to be ported to the PS2, Wii and mobile when they said that it was a Gamecube-exclusive? No oneCapcom took a lot of their exclusive titles away from Nintendo last generation, because they knew they could make a quick buck. First Viewtiful Joe, then a couple of other titles that didn't do so hot on any system, then RE4 - it's really all about money, no 3rd-party developers or publishers are sworn to any one 1st-party. And I really don't see RE5 coming to the Wii, for a ton of reasons. If it does, it will be a tragic mess, just like Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop! is going to be. They take a bunch of suff out of the game, tack on motion controls, make everything very choppy and low-framerate-ish, then since the Wii isn't powerful enough to handle dozens or hundreds of zombies onscreen at once, there will only be like 15 of them running around. It will not be the original RE5, it will be the 'LCD Handheld' port of a next-gen game.
the other two consoles (That will remain nameless, I have no idea why people keep on bringing them up by name it's not like it's said right on the front of the forum DO NOT TALK ABOUT OTHER PLATFORMSJaysonguyI'm pretty sure they mean, don't discuss the other consoles here. I'm pretty sure they don't care if you say their names.

Trust me, you have no idea on how many people request for this to happen, we're talking roughly 3.3 million people. Even people were making petition sites for this to happen[QUOTE="Pices"][QUOTE="srdjan311"]wow this topic got my hopes upp nothing was confirmed :/ag1052Mate, there is a chance, look at the video.a chance and confirmed are very different... the thread title needs to be changed That can't be done, but at least some people can get the point and concept right.

No game
If this game was cake you'd have no cake.
The chance of the game being made are the same as the Lions winning the Superbowl
First of all there's not enough Wii's to make it worth it.
Secondly, even if they made the game it would be so late that most users would purchase it for their other platform.
I don't understand why there's this constant need to pretend these things can happen. It can't. The Wii can't run the graphics, it can't run the AI, and there's not enough buyers in the world to make it profitable.
There is no proof at all that this will ever be on the Wii
None
Trust me, you're getting excited over a DEAD ENDI still have faith in the developers, if the Wii can't run it then why would the producer mention it in that vid, like I said there are millions of people who request for this to happen in petition sites. RE4 and RE UC sold millions, this will give them more than enough profit to make a great Wii game for it. They'll make from the ground-up, perhaps. You're not gonna die if it comes to the Wii....so stop complaining..or simply..don't buy it on the Wii.No game
