Hey,
What does HDTV/EDTV Compatiblity mean? I know that some Wiigames on my HDTV looks kinda squishy(like mario party 8 which is not supported by that feature), but in games like MK:armageddon and exicte Truck I see sightly better(which are supported by HDTV), so that what it means? you see a little sharper and cleaner? is it normal that last-gen games(PS2,GC,XBOX...) and Wii games that aren't supported by HDTV/EDTV when played on HDTVslooks more "ugly" than when they are playedon a normal TV? because Iam not 100%sure what does that compatiblity exactly means...
Oh, and I am using the 480p mode(HDTV/EDTV) on the Wii display option.
Now, about 50Hz/60Hz mode, what does it mean? I know briefly what 50Hz/60Hz means, but some games like SSX Blur saying only "EDTV/HDTV compatible" on the cover of the game, does that mean that the game will run only in 50Hz? I think that 480p supports 60Hz on default, but some games got both "50Hz/60Hz mode" and EDTV/HDTV Compatible", so I am not sure about that thing...
Also another thing that some games don't have any 50Hz/60Hz or EDTV/HDTV, it will run in 50Hz also? because the PAL is meant for 50Hz on default, but games like Mario party 8 and Wii play says just "50Hz", no 60Hz, wierd... its confusing me!!!
Take note that I am talking about PAL Wiis and PAL games only, I have no idea whats the deal with NTSC ones:oops:.
It doesn't really matter to me(the games still look very nice and runs smoothly), but I am just curious about those things:D.
Thanks in advance!
