question for people who know the metroid prime storyline

ok i know this may sound stupid....but im curious about the story line.....1 thing is what exactly is phazon and how was it created?......also who is ridley exactl, i know hes samus nemesis but thats it.......(oh and i own prime 1, hunters, and prime 3 and beaten them all but im still a bit confused)

I know about Phazon and Ridley:D

Phazon is a half sentient mineral that is highly radioactive. It can make more of itself and take over other beings and mutate them. It is also makes a great fuel source and weapon.

Ridley is the leader of the space pirates and since the first game on the NES where she dies the space pirates rebuild her and then she dies and then they rebuild her thus is the cycle of Meta-Ridley.

nope shes a girl i always thought Samus was a boy:P

and i don't know wherephazon came from because i haven't beat Prime 3 yet but i think has something to do with either the pirates teh metroids or the chozo
