Hmm, if I remeber right, it has bars. And it does look a little glitchy, (is that the word? Maybe blocky is better, hmm, not really. You know what I'm saying) but the colors are really nice.

It fills the whole screen. And as long as you have some component cables everything looks very good. My TV is a 54" Samsung DLP. So anything smaller would look even better.

This is how it looks on my 32inch HDTV, it has great colors but it does have tiny black bars. The RE4 ones are bigger and the Metroid Prime ones are smaller. The colors are very sharp, but it has a few jaggies.

Edit: I have component cables, resolution set to 480p a calibrated tv and all that.

I had Trauma Centre on my HDTV and that had black borders in 480p due to no widescreen etc. Funny thing is in 50hz the black border wasn't as bad. Maybe if we lucky if we have Super Paper Mario in 50hz there will be full screen and no borders. I doubt it though. I wish we had 576p mode :(

LOL...The game rocks. Def. one of the must haves for Wii owners. BTW, I've got a 32" LCD HDTV, and I get the full screen.

Mine was true widescreen, no bars on the sides, and it looked great, no glitches, very sharp, no blockyness, and the colours were fabulous. I'm using component cables on a sharp 32" aquos.
