Since "Ghost Recon" has been ported to various cell phones already, I would rather that they made a newer title... something fresh. "BiA" is indeed coming out for us here in North America soon, but from all the reports there isn't much tactical about it (your squadmates are more like NPCs in "Call of Duty" or "Medal of Honor"). The hardware has shown that it is more than capable of handling a 3D shooter with the likes of "Metroid Prime: Hunters" around, and the stylus control would be rockin' for a Tom Clancey title like Rainbow or GR, but at this point i think it's still a pipe dream. The folks at Nintendo, while indulging us FPS fans a bit with games like the above mentioned or "MechAssault", really don't seem to want to push the library on that front. It doesn't seem to be a priority, anyway... not like the *koff* other hand-held. And big a FPS fan as I am, I can't bring myself to buy one of those things. Nope.
How about a metal gear solid on DS?
or halo? or GTA? lol

MGS would never ever be on a ds, or any other system that isn't made by sony for that matter.
Halo is a bit more possible but chances are it iwll never happen
and if they made a GTA game for the ds it would be like the gba version since it wouldn't be able to fit a big game like that on a ds cart if it was 3d
Mmmmmmm... "Metroid Prime: Hunters" makes me believe that a more fully-realized GTA could be quite possible on the DS instead of having to "revert" to the older top-down view of the GBA cart. The system is obviously capable of sofisicated graphics and sound, all they need to do is work out the particulars of encoding it to a chip instead of loading continuously from a disc. There probably can't be nearly the amount of roaming population, etc. but I bet it could be done quite easily... also, as the DS Browser program has shown, a memory expansion in the GBA slot makes the little dynamo of a hand-held even stronger... perhaps they could use such a memory expander to hold more information for the game in-play.
I'm no programmer, but it just seems logical.

If i'm not mistaken, there's one MGS for xbox. Also the first Tom Clancy's game for DS was unsuccesful (Splinter Cell) So I hope they reconcinder to make other Clancy's game for DS.

Ubisoft thought they could just rely on the brand-name to sell Chaos Theory for the DS, when the truth was that it was a badly rushed port of an N-Gage title that suffered horrendous frame-rate problems in such simple scenes.
Anyhows, I'd love to have a new Rainbow Six done in the old-style, you know, the ones where you can completely map out the plan of action for your teams to take which you issue on a blue-print of the map before heading in.........heck, I'd kill for just the original Rainbow Six to get ported, the N64 was able to handle it, shouldn't be a reason why the DS couldn't.
