Electroplankton is rare because they stopped producing it.
How about the Metroid Prime Hunters demo that came with the first couple of batches of DSes?

deus57
Well, I can read and speak alittle japanese but I'm sure its not enough to understand the full story. Anyway what website would you recommend buying it from.
Aren't electroplankton and LOL really rare games? I've never even seen a copy of LOL...Freeglader
LOL can only be bought from an only retailer, and even then, it's only advanced PictoChat.
Let's see about rare games...I've got Advance Wars: Dual Strike, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Those are pretty much the only titles I had to look really hard for. I used to have a copy of Kirby: Canvas Curse, but I didn't like it, and sold it at Gamestop (DOH!!! Could've made a buck or two on eBay).
i will recomend play-asia it's good at the time of shipping (generally 1 week)
here is a link to the page http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-9g-49-en-70-2nff.html

Would you say it is worth the price? Also is there a guide or something with a translation of the script I can follow as I play through the story?
Some games that are agreed on as being rare are:
Elektroplankton (originally only available online)
WarioWare: Touched
Tetris DS
Advanced Wars: Dual Strike
Kirby Canvas Curse
LOL (new, but only available from the developer's site. Odds are it'll stop being made soon since no one bought it)
Nanostray
Meteos
Other games I would call rare (at least in my are), but am not certain if they're truly rare:
Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
Mario vs. DK 2: March of the Minis
Nanostray 2
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
Entrian Odyssey
Izuna: Legend of The Unemployed Ninja
Chibi Robo: Park Patrol (originally only available through Wal-Mart)
The World Ends With You (it seems Square Enix never sent out more copies after the initial shipment)
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales
Luminous Arc
Draglade
Lunar Knights: Vampire Hunters

Are you sure about TWEWY, that seems like a game they will keep in stores due to its popularity.

Pretty sure. I haven't seen it at any of my local GameStops or EB Games for a while. Today I finally found a used copy and talked to the clerk about it and he said they hadn't received a shipment with the game since it came out.
it is worth the price:) but if you don't like it you cansearch in google or other places with a exportation from japan to your home with lower price and for the gamescript the date release of the game was almost 2-3 months i don't think that they will manage to make all the game script but i've seen a patch of the game of english(not the gamescript the skills and items) and in the forum i've found it they were talking about translating the game script :) i think that in 2 or four months there is going to be a gamescript

I think I'm going to wait on this one then, there are so many others games coming out that I want to play.

I sware that Gamestop is getting worse and worse at distributing games so I go to Toys R Us more often now.
Elite beats agent mabye?n00bkid
That games easy to find now. Wasn't long ago, it was repackaged with a ds case and 3 styleses for 15$. Think it was more of a wally world thing though.
But besides, elite beat agents is a terrible game. It follows its own tune, instead of the songs for the most part. Take for example, the chicago 'your the inspiration' song. The beat notes, sounded completely seperate from the song. It was a bad port/remake of the original japanese version, with completely different songs.
viewtiful joe ds is very rare, a friend of mine sold it to blockbuster where they buy used games and they paid to my friend the price of a new game because they didnt had it in the databasefernandovmen
Really? I saw three of four copies at a K-mart for $15, maybe I should pick one up.
Diddy Kong Racing is pretty "Rare". Get it? :PMaster_Saibot
Nice.
As far as hard-to-find games go, I think it all depends on where you live. I've heard rumor that a game is "rare," only to find five or six copies at my local game stores (yes, plural). And there are some games that I can't find for the life of me that my friends in other states can grab whenever they want. A lot of it has to do with the people around you turning in games and the market for certain types of games your community.
zoo keeper is the best puzzle game on ds and i havent seen it since the first week it came out
the best "rare" game u can get is probably scurge hive. its like an isometric metriod ripoff that they made 9 copies of total...and its actually pretty good!
Well, No- On eBay people put "RARE" on just to make people buy it, thinking they've got a bargain, It's just a common gimmick. ;)
EddieTheGreat
Damn straight old greg
i think for ds children of mana is rare and fun
for game cube tales of symphonia if any one knows where to get a copy please write
