RE5 on Wii not as impossible as one may think.....

Look at what creators of previous RE games are say, look at the petition that is getting huge numbers, and see how RE: UC is just the begining.

imo... we can expect a future RE in Wii.. but RE5 (the same game that is going to be release in 360/ps3) i doubt it. Why? well... imo... i repeat... imo... they would not make a game (of such a famous series) with "out of this world graphics" and then go down on graphics to be able to release it on the Wii

NOTe that i`m not a graphics fans nor a 360/sony fan... and that i may get a 360 mainly for RE5 :( so having this for wii would be GREAT!!!

look at ps2 version of re4 ,,, impossible is what many claimed before it were announced,,, remember wii has an advantage that 360 nor ps3 have,, motion sensing .. add that plus bonus content and it will be a go .... just like they did with re 4 on ps2 mariokart64fan

also like nights they could use the weather channel. Granted its cold in some places but they could just assume what is considered warmer for the area and amke it ten times worse.

at the end of both of their lifes we see that GC could have done alot more while PS2 is maxed out.

I know the RE4 is not the best comparison and it does not need to be. Capcom is definitely considering this but their being a little annoying about it.

no, even if it is not released at christmas time, it will still cause havoc.a lot of wii owners after the holiday season will be out in the streets and out of money after buying all these games, but they would do anything to get this, but they will not have the money.. storeswill be lotted to get the game, people will be fighting over the stolen copies. there will be gun fights in the streets, and a lot of people will die just because of one game. if RE5 is for the wii is not stopped now, it will cause international havoc.

re4 mobile edition says hi. and since when has capcom made a bad port? capcom imo makes the best ports ever..

I would rather Microsoft make a Wii type controller that way I can play RE5 with all the awsome lighting and graphics and the cool controls.

One thing I didn't like about the Wii version of RE4 is the you had to use the analogue stick for the sniper rifle. I mean what the hell is that. I could not believe that I could not control the sniper rifle aiming with the Wii-mote.

as much as people will deny it MS does not trail blaze like nintendo. MS will adapt a motion senstive controller one day but they wont do it until its standard and everyone else has already done all the good ideas.

Although technically that was shipped out to Ubi Soft to be ported like all of Capcom's PC ports (Capcom doesn't do PC.)

But this will never happen. Wii will DEFINATELY get a new RE4 engine RE game (or a wiimake?) but we wont get RE5. Also, if people buy RE:UC expect more crappy on-rails shooters.

I'd love to see the game on the Wii. I've played RE4 on the Gamecube, the PS2, and the Wii, and the Wii was the best version. As long as the control scheme is the same or an improved version of the RE4 scheme, I think it would be a great game...it'd probably be GOTY potential.Swifty_Magee

i would say it that the aiming was perfect but motion gestures like knife swiping would have to be revamped for sure.

There are a few reasons why I would not want the new RE5 on the wii. Argue as you with them, I do not care.

1. The targeting system, it made targeting way too easy, you could hit enemies from long distances away because of the indicator. I want the laser sight back, screw reality, it is a game, because of the wii mote they flipped the twilight princess around, pointless programing in my point of view.

2. The controls, I would like to see the action cut scenes with different combinations, then just shake the wii mote and push a and b. It would make it a little more tense, and scary, I haven't been scared of an RE game since I played the first one when it came out. I also didn't like the quick slash.

3. I feel that the wii mote could be so much more, but no one tries. When I first heard of it, I thought you character would move his hands or arms in the way you moved the wii mote. Sadly I was very wrong.

Any other way, I will probably get RE5 no matter what system I find is best. If the wii is cheapest and it hasn't be made easier then I will get it for that. When I say cheaper I mean the system and game cost, as the most recent system I have is the Game Cube.

Even though I am getting a PS3 soon I would prefer to get it for the Wii since I liked using the motion sensitive controls on RE4. The only thing I worry about is if it comes out later for Wii there will be new important content in it just like how only the PS2, PC, and Wii versions of RE4 have Seperate Ways.

I really don't think it's going to happen......but it def could.

It would most likely come out in 2010-11ish I would guess. These games don't take 6 months to make, even with the Wii's inferior hardware.
