Yea, NHL seems too trickey for the Wii, only if they decide to use Classic controller. I mean, how would you skate and handle the puck at the same time? How could you intercept a pass? It just seems too complicated for the controllers.

I think the controller and the nunchuck attachment scream NHL; I think it would be perfect. The nunchuck would control the player and the wiimote would control the stick. I think it could be really great. I hope EA will bring the March Madness series to the Wii. It was never on the GC and I don't know why because it was on all the other systems. They also need to bring NCAA Football back to a Nintendo system because it used to be on the GC and they stopped making it for it a few years ago.

EA has their own studio to make Wii games, and have shown great support for the Wii so far, with both sports games and non-sports games (The Godfather). They take their time to make sure that the Wii controls work properly, and so far they have done a good job at it. I'd be willing to bet you that you will see most, if not all of their sports games on the Wii.

I can understand the rest of the sports games mentioned, but how would a basketball game be played on the Wii?  I was shocked that someone wandered how hockey would be played--that's a no-brainer!!!  However, basketball, I don't know how they'd pull it off.  I mean making a shooting motion with Wii-Remote in a fast paced game, would be rather difficult and tiresome.

I guess that you would use the numchuck to move the player A button 2 pass and swing the wiimote 2 shoot.

I wish that new UEFA Champions League game was coming out for Wii, the whole card trading thing looks new and cool to me especially if it came online. But I'll need to be getting it for PS2 obviously.

Konami is bringing Pro Evolution Soccer aka Winning Eleven to the Wii later this year. It'll do the trick for me 'cause it's way better than FIFA.
