Some family members are coming over to my house including two cousins (7 and 12 yrs old). I wanted to hear from you which of these games would be easy to pick up for them and have fun. I have only two controllers:

Metal slug, Excite truck, Elebits,  Sonic (this one is right now unavailable since it is rented)

I'd say Warioware cause in there you only need one controller and you can pass it around between i think like 4 people to play or Excite Truck

Well I am going to be renting and those three ( Metal slug, Elebits, excite truck) are the only ones available that I thought would be fun for many people, especially taking into account that some of them are kids.

So I would appreciate the answer being one of those three, since they are my only options:

Personally I am leading towards Excite truck, even though the video store guy keeps insisting what a good game metal slug is (but it isnt even a "real" wii game if you know what I mean)

Thanks for all the recommendations so far

Excite Truck or Elebits.
Metal Slug isn't much of a crowd pleaser, it's more of a single player alone kind of game
I can see two friends getting together and playing it but a whole family scene where you go over and pick up and play quick it just doesn't work.

Excite Truck is very easy to pick up but takes a while to master so everyone could get into it right away.
Elebits could be fun while people are trying out the controllers.

Elebits is pretty fun. It can be tough at times though. I didn't really like the Multiplayer aspect of this game. You can only use maps that you have beaten in the Single Player game. Also, only one person controls the camera so it makes it that much more difficult for others to win. I haven't tried Excite Truck.
