I’ve recently picked up a Nintendo Switch and am excited to dive into the world of Nintendo games! As a new owner, I’m looking for recommendations on must-play games across various genres. Here’s a bit about my gaming preferences and what I’m looking for:

Gaming Preferences:

• Favorite Genres: Action-adventure, RPG, and platformers
• Previous Nintendo Experience: Limited to playing a few classic NES and SNES games
• Multiplayer Interest: Open to both single-player and multiplayer games

1. Top Recommendations: What are the top Nintendo Switch games that you would recommend for someone who enjoys action-adventure and RPG genres? Are there any hidden gems that are not as well-known but worth playing?
2. Must-Have Classics: Are there any classic Nintendo games or franchises that are essential for any Switch owner to experience?
3. Multiplayer Fun: What are some great multiplayer games or party games that are perfect for playing with friends and family on the Switch?

Hi Tylor welcome to the wonderful world of Switch gaming. As for games to play I would say the switch has a lot of options. Some of the big ones that I have and recommend are Super Mario Bros Wonder, Super Mario Rpg, fire emblem engage, animal crossing new horizons and Persona 5 tactica. There are so many games you can find almost anything.

I would say Octopath Traveler, because it's an rpg that has some excellent voice acting and has an old-school appeal. Secondly, I would recommend Super Smash Bros Ultimate because it's perfect for local multiplayer (you said that you like that kind of stuff). Lastly, I would say to check out Super Mario Odyssey. It's a platforming game and you said that you like that, so it's an easy choice.

Let me just say that I own all 3 of these games, so they are easy for me to recommend.

@dracula_16: yeah I agree with you as well smash brothers is a must have. I have that one also.

Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Any of the titles are good), Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Super Mario Wonder is a fun game as well. I really liked Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and of course Metroid Prime.

All the Xenogames (Xenoblade Chronicles 1,2, Torna The Golden Country, 3, Future Redeemed, and soon to be X Definitive edition, Baten Kaitos 1+2 (AMAZING GAMES!), Paper Mario and the Thousand-year door, Fire Emblem 3 houses and Fire Emblem 3 Hopes, Zelda TOTK, and Age of Calamity, and so many others. The Switch just has too many good games!
