They sold enough copies to set forth in motion the development of a sequel. You know for a first time dev team that had never worked on a fps much less one with a brand new control scheme they did a decent job. If you take Red Steel based on whom developed it and what they managed to accomplish they did a far better job then a lot of more established dev teams have done on games in the past.
Especially since they were rushed and couldn't do everything they wanted I suspect a sequel has the potential for greatness if they learn from their mistakes.
