Resident Evil: Dark Side Chronicles *bc expects backlash*

You're ruining one of my favourite series.

-Brought you you by someone who actually enjoyed the hell out of RE: umbrella chronicles.

I don't see why people are complaining about an Umbrella Chronicles sequel. And how is it ruining the Resident Evil franchise? They are spin-off games, not full-fledged titles, they won't do a thing for the rest of the series.

I AM looking forward to Dark Side Chronicles. I love On-Rails shooters. Besides, Umbrella Chronicles was an excellent game and before anyone bashed the game, try playing it first. You might enjoy the game.

Exactly. I wish people on these forums would quit crying all the time. Its depressing. I swear I lose an IQ point everytime I come on here read the negativity. Besides, Resident Evil was ruined when RE 4 came out and ripped survival horror's beating heart out. As good as the game was, the series has never been the same. It hit its high point with the REmake and RE 3 IMO.

Survival horror is ironically struggling to survive. Its giving way for action over tension.

If its printed in the magazine, its confirmed. Just because you cannot read the magazine, doesn't make it less confirmed, sorry.

My hopes for this game if it is still an FPS game:

-Longer levels and have many more episodes.

-still have dual wielding with much more tweaked.

Heres another link from Kotaku, they say it's a continuation of UC set in the RE2 world.

for making this game, this should have been apart of the first RE:UC

they really need to take out the vomitting zombies. And stuff that lands on your face that you have to knife away. lol.

They should make it more like a story than a recap..... anything that adds length to the game, UC was a little too short for my taste. And they should add a new scenario of course

I won't call the game half-assed, but I will certainly call the effort from Capcom half-assed.

Actually that would give Capcom too much credit. Quarter-assed is more like it.
